TWELVE HOURS
Typographic Poster
Typographic poster documenting exactly what was going through my head during a randomly-selected twelve-hour period in my life.
The very large-format poster measures 17 inches in width, and at 76 inches (or 6 ft, 4 inches) is exactly my height.
All text is set solid at varying point sizes in order to provide visual interest and emphasize key items. Actual times are set in red, providing some breaks from the intensity of information set with almost no white space.
The work can either be read line by line, or skimmed by reading only the larger text to provide a general feel for the stream-of-consciousness subject matter. The intent is to ensure that only a very determined reader could handle reading the text in its entirety—which I have been told can take up to 30 minutes.
As the BBC would say, very strong language from the start—while I can now lift far more weight than is documented in the workout described here, the rest of my life remains as chaotic as ever.
